My philosophy is that you are the expert and nobody knows you better than yourself. I may be the therapist but you are the one in charge and directing where we take your mental health journey. I use a “person-in-environment” lens to look at how every factor of your life and background impacts your day-to-day functioning.
There is no one size fits all approach to therapy. I utilize a variety of techniques and tailor treatment to each individual client. Since you’re the expert, we will determine the course of treatment as a team and collaborate on your treatment plan. Our therapy sessions will never include anything you genuinely do not want to do or talk about.
